  Christina A. Dunbar is the founder of Salon Evolve Academy a beauty and wellness continuing education company dedicated to advancing professional standards for licensed beauty facilitators and beauty business owners. An accomplished entrepreneur, published author, military Veteran, jewelry artisan, and licensed cosmetologist, Christina has been recognized for more than 45 years as “The Hair Doctor” for her expertise, professionalism, and commitment to excellence.

She holds an active license as a beauty and wellness instructor and facilitator that has been given the label  as “Dynamic Educator.” Christina is a certified PSI Examiner and has trained more than 200 facilitators and has supported numerous beauty and wellness professionals across the country in strengthening their technical, instructional, and business skills.

Throughout her career, Christina has owned and operated her own salon and spa, served as a salon and spa manager for a cruise line, has held previous licenses as Continuing Education Provider for Georgia and Ohio, worked as an area salon manager for JCPenney salon retail chains, managed Regis salon retail locations. She has also contributed nationally as a subject matter expert for cosmetology and barber examinations.

Her industry leadership includes serving as an expert speaker and facilitator for major professional events, including Premiere Beauty shows, CEA, IBS, and SkillsUSA judging opportunities. Christina brings extensive experience in management operations, sales and marketing, curriculum development, practical and theory-based skill development, and leadership training.

Her lifelong commitment to the beauty and wellness industry has made her a highly sought-after coach/mentor, and facilitator trainer. Christina remains passionate about guiding the next generation of licensed facilitators and beauty and wellness operators through impactful education, constructive learning practices, professional guidance, and leadership development support.
